Fill out an Application
The first step is to submit an application, which can be done in the following ways:

Complete Skills Check
Upon completing your application you must complete a skills checklist. Nirvana will assign you the appropriate skills checklist for you discipline and specialty.
Pass Your Core Competency Test
At Nirvana we only want the best. To ensure quality clinicians for our clients, each applicant is required to pass our core competency test. Reading materials accompany the test for reference if needed. A score of 80% or higher is needed to pass. Those who fail must wait 7 days to retake the test.
Speak to Your Recruiter
Once you have passed your core competency test, your own personal recruiter will contact you to discuss your career goals and placement options.
Choose Your Assignment
Pick the assignment that best fits your lifestyle and preferences. If we do not have an assignment in the location you wish to be, let us know, and we will actively search for opportunities in that area.
Interview with the Facility Hiring Manager
Depending on the facility, interviews may be done over the phone or in person. Your recruiter will work with you to discuss interviewing tips and give career advice.
Accept the Assignment
Once the assignment is confirmed by both you and the facility, you are ready to start. If you are accepting a temporary travel position, Nirvana’s housing manager will work with you to arrange your living situation and make the transition as smooth as possible.
